Nothing Phone 2: Price Leak and Exciting Features Unveiled!

Prepare to be amazed as the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2) is set to make its grand entrance on July 11. With rumors and official hints fueling anticipation, we now have a glimpse of the possible pricing for the Phone (2). Here’s what you need to know.

Price Leak for the Nothing Phone (2)

According to Dealabs Magazine, a French publication, the pricing details for Nothing’s second smartphone have been revealed for the European market. It is speculated that the Nothing Phone (2) will be priced at €729 (~ Rs 65,600) for the 256GB model and €849 (~ Rs 76,400) for the 512GB variant.

The 256GB storage option is expected to be accompanied by 8GB of RAM, while the 512GB storage option will feature a generous 12GB of RAM. Notably, the 512GB storage variant will be a first for the company.

This pricing marks a significant increase compared to the starting price of the previous Nothing Phone (2) model, which began at €469 (Rs 32,999 in India) for the 8GB+128GB variant. The utilization of the high-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is likely the reason behind this price bump. However, Nothing has assured us of an accessible price tag despite this.

This pricing strategy aligns with the trajectory followed by OnePlus, which initially established itself as an affordable flagship phone brand but now produces smartphones priced under Rs 80,000. It remains to be seen how Nothing’s pricing decision will fare, particularly in the Indian market.

In terms of specifications, Nothing has confirmed several exciting features for the Phone (2). It will boast a 6.7-inch display, potentially an AMOLED panel with a high refresh rate. The device will also house a larger 4,700mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. Sustainability will take center stage, with Nothing’s signature transparent design incorporated into the phone’s aesthetics. Furthermore, users can expect a USB Type-C cable with a matching aesthetic. The Phone (2) will operate on Nothing OS 2.0, based on Android 13, and may offer wireless charging support, satellite communications, and much more.

With the launch event for the Nothing Phone (2) just around the corner, it’s advisable to patiently await further details about this exciting device. Stay tuned to this space for all the latest updates.
