Bhind, Madhya Pradesh Set to Craft World’s Largest Rakhi for Guinness World Records

The Bhind district in Madhya Pradesh is gearing up to create the largest rakhi globally, aiming for a spot in the prestigious Guinness World Records. Spearheaded by Ashok Bhardwaj, a prominent figure in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), this endeavor involves a team of over ten skilled artisans. The rakhi, measuring a staggering 1000 feet in length, is being crafted from a blend of materials such as cloth, cardboard, thermocol sheets, and wood.

The initiative is led by Ashok Bhardwaj, a leader in the BJP, with the support of a dedicated organization. Skilled artisans are crafting the rakhi using materials like cloth, cardboard, thermocol sheets, and wood. The central circular piece of the rakhi boasts a 25-foot diameter, accompanied by two decorative 15-foot diameter balls.

Completion of the project is scheduled for Wednesday, followed by an assessment by Guinness World Records officials on Thursday.
